Falšata-Galia was started in January 1999 by Rudolph Carrera v. Linn, whose previous experience in the music industry had been as A&R manager of Tone Casualties Recordings and licensor for the Aprelevka Sound Pressing Plant in Moscow, Russia. Carrera has had a long fascination with cultures all around the world, but was especially attracted to Eastern Europe, due to the tensions the region has had to endure for several millennium, as well as the remarkably high quality of music the region has constantly produced.
Deciding that it was time to forge out on his own, he gathered some of the finest talent emerging from places such as Slovenia, Russia, The Former Yugoslavia, Macedonia, Uruguay, and the United States of America. His roster is growing rapidly, and he is on pace to release fifty full-length compact discs by the end of the year.
Currently, Falšata-Galia is being exclusively manufactured by Transparency Recordings of Los Angeles, California.
