One of the most beloved of folkloric musicians in Macedonia.  His work is especially important to me, since I am a great admirer of bagpipers and their art, and Pece was considered to be one of the best in the world, as his competitors will note.   He ran a school outside of Skopje for years up until his passing in 1998.  A shame that he has left us for a better place (now he can blow away in peace), but we hope to release several volumes of his work, so that people can appreciate some of the best in folkloric music from Macedonia.  As a side note, tremendous thanks must go to Maria Canavarro and the Atanasovski Estate for their assistance on this glorious project.
