KINART, JEFFREY A real find for Falçata-Galia. After years of working on music videos, Kinart decided that perhaps he should give the "music thing" a shot. It turns out that, despite having no formal musical training or knowledge, he has developed a gift for "feeling out" music in a way reminiscent of Brian Eno, that other famous "non-musician." Kinart's music is very cinematic, yet quite accessible. His first release for Falçata-Galia, "Swimming in the Amniotic," was an experiment in fetal stimulation. While Jeff's wife was pregnant with their daughter, Jeff decided to see if music would make the fetus react in a positive way, and it just so turns out that it does! Kinart is preparing at least two more albums for the label, to be announced at a later date. |
